About Us

Every Crawford Hill piece begins long before it lands in your jewellery box. It starts with a spark — a sketch scribbled down, refined and reimagined until it feels just right. Then the magic (and the mess) begins in our North Canterbury workshop: shaping, hammering, soldering, polishing. The hiss of the torch, the smell of flux, the steady rhythm of tools — it’s not glamorous, but it’s real.

And that’s the point. Because here’s what sets us apart: we actually make our jewellery. No imports. No shortcuts. No pretending. Just raw craftsmanship, born in our workshop, finished by hand, and built to last a lifetime.

Crawford Hill is powered by Kelly Crawford and her partner and business partner Daryl Hill, who work side by side in the workshop. Kelly brings the designs to life — sketching, shaping, soldering, and crafting each unique piece. Daryl is meticulous about product preparation, polishing and quality control, ensuring every bangle and pendant shines its brightest, is flawless and ready to be shipped. Together, they keep tradition alive with a modern twist, every piece touched by both sets of hands.

The inspiration runs deeper than design. Kelly grew up immersed in horses thanks to her mother, Barbara — a pioneering New Zealand jockey who rode against the odds and carved a place for women in equestrian sport. That grit, that resilience, that love of horses? It runs in our blood, and it’s poured into every piece we create.

From snaffle pendants to stirrup bangles, from sterling silver to 9ct gold and diamonds, our jewellery is more than an accessory. It’s a statement. It’s a bond. It’s for the riders, the dreamers, the mothers, the daughters, and those who live and breathe the equestrian life.

We are bold. We are boujee. We are Crawford Hill.
